Uncorrected machine reading. This text was read by machine (Tesseract OCR) from a scan of a stencilled typescript and has not been corrected. Expect misread words; titles in particular are often garbled where the issue printed no contents list. Quote from the scan, not from this page.
How this article was cut and titled: capitals heading; heuristic; title from the OCR of the heading.

We are informed that No, 14 of the reviow Fourth International is ready and will bo roceivod in this country soon. This issue has been delayed for a variety of roasons, tho main one being the exponse involved in the Amsterdam trial,

It is ossential that the maximum effort bo made to sell a good number of this issue especially as it contains important material appertaining to the 2end Congress. In view of the interost in our ideas this should be possible. We have already received an advance order for 10 from a comrade in Sheffield and another for 6 from a comrade in Glasgow. Please send your orders in as soon as possible. One last points in the past a lot of copies have been distributed and not paid for. This is both bad from a financial point of view and from a political one as well. There is a bad tradition in the British movement that litorature is just doled out, consequently people do not take the litoraturoseriously. There is far more respect for something which has beon paid for than something givon awaye As part of the process of tightehing up our organisation wo must oppose this tradition at all levels.
