Adenaur’s Lebenstraum, From German Democratic Report. as 26. 10. 62. "The Gorman Reich mst definitely strive to obtain colonies. In the Reich itsolf there is too little space for the big population. We are constantly losing just those adventurous and pushing people who find no field for those activities at hom; ig the colonies they would find a field for their activites. We must have more space for our people, and therefore we must have colonies. ADJNAUR". This striking call for colonies for German imperialism was made 34 years ago by Konrad Adenaur, today Chancellor of West Germany. He can scarcely claim that this was a youthful indiscretion (sic) since he had then already reached the ripe age of fifty-two.
