1412 The latest estinate fron the Board of Trade states that investnent in private industry is likely to fall by 10 per cant this yeor fron its 1962 level. If this is born out by ovents, investment in the private sector will be cut by about #200 mn, this yenr. These figures tilly closely with Boird of Trade figures published Inst Septonber. Expenditure in tho mnufieturing industry is expected to fall by core thin the nverare for industry - by sbout 14 per cent. But on tho dis'ributive and service side of industry a decline of only about 6 por cont. is expected.
