Wiriting in the Nconomist of 13th July, their special correspondent has this to say: ‘In his speeches, and oven more in conversation, Mr. Benbella shows himself aware that there are dangors in single-party rule,..s..The depart= ure of the French has helped him make a good start with land reform (though the appropriate law is not yet ready.) So far, no matter what his onemios may say, he has stuck faithfully to the programme drawn up by the party's council at Tripoli in June, 1962, which is the bible of tne revolution..."
