3 Portuguese military planes were shot down recently by Portuguese Guinean nationalist fighters in the Mansode area in contral Guinea, the African Independence Party of Guinea and Cape Verde announced in a communique on August 28th. The communique said that on August 17 a Portuguese patrol was attacked by their forces in the Mansode area, On the following day Portuguese aircraft bombed the area, Thoy lost 3 of the aircraft in the attack,
