The name of Mae Mallory has become a symbol of the struggle 3 against Jin Crow ' justicet as a result of the 24 yoaf fight to provent her from boing extradited from Ohio to Monroe, North Carolina, to face a framo up kidnap charge. In practice; her only crime was to go to lfionroe in the August of 1961 as a headquarters helper for the frocdom riders.
