“e have recoived a copy of Anti-Apartheid News for March; this excellent publication gives an overall survey of various aspects of the anti-apartheid campaign. The news it. gives of the campaign up and’ down the country is very encouraging: “The entiro membership of Liver pool City Council has signed the petition for tho release of political prisoners — so have all the officials and executive membors of the “atermen, Lightermon, Tugmen and Bargemen's Unions all members of the Edinburgh and District Trades Councils..."

Local activities reported includeds "Cardiff: a public meoting, adimessed by Robert Reshase.e3 Chatham,..a pickot of a wino-tasting ceremony sponsored by Union Castle Co.s3 Edinburgh, «2 public moeting which raisod over £4003.." Poster parades in Finchloy, Hampstead, Banstead and Manchester, and in Bristol an open-air meeting organised by the UniversityCampaign against Racial Discrimination. Durham students have circularised shops with information on the boycott and followed up with visits to the shopkeepers.
