Information given by Godber in tho House of Commons on March 16th, revenled the extent to which young people have boen forced to leave Scotland to find work. Tho numbor of boys omployed in Scotland declined by 600 betweon 1951 and 1963 ~ this compares with an increase of 9 in the rest of the country. There ws an increase in the number of girls employed of 4,400 compared with 140,400 for tho rest of the country. if tho figure was proportionate it would have been over 4 times as greato
