from Ian Taylor The inaugural meeting of the Cambridge branch of the C.S.E, attracted 23people despite having to compete with the Labour's candidate's neeting at the same time, Representatives from the NaUsRey UsSeDeAcWey AcS.We, the local Labour Party, Y.C.L. and NwAslsSe0. participated in a lively discus ion around the topic "Incomes Policy and the Attack on the Trade Unions" led by Ivor Jordan of the A,S.\/, and Bob Rowthorn of the Department of Econonics in the University. It was agreed to follow up this meeting with one on the left's countersattack on the Incomes Policy, and a comuittee spanning the town and University was formed to organise further activities,
