The latest caso of repression is the reported arrest, on 4 charge of inciting the 24-hour generel strike of last November, of Ali Hussein Qadhi. Ali Hussein Quadi, who was recently clected president of the Aden TUC, faces the prospect of being fined £100 or jailed for six months if found guilty.
