in smalysia.of the votes at the Labour Party Conference for the Constituency Section of the National Executive Cammittes reveals two interesting conoglusiona, The first is that there was a sewing of about 14 per cent away from Mini-~ stere and to Leftewing lay membera, That's a very considerable swing: if it happened in & parliamentary general election, or even in a parlisment= ary by-election, a swing of that magnitude would be considered sensational.
